Hoemo World: A Physical Education

What if you could turn your gym class into a celebration of queer identity and sexuality?
To showcase its new collection, Hoemo World collaborated with photographer Paul Perelka and makeup artist Berny Ferreira to create an editorial feature titled “A Physical Education”. The feature is inspired by the experiences of queer people in school, especially in physical education classes, which are often sources of trauma and bullying. By recreating a gym setting and dressing the models in sporty outfits and Hoemo World jewellery, the feature subverts the narrative and turns it into a positive and empowering one.
