Summer is almost here, and HIBU Studio is unveiling a beach towel in collaboration with photographer João Barreiros.
When the idea of collaborating was pitched to João, he immediately thought about shooting Luke, a guy he met a while back on Grindr, and whose vibrant personality and unapologetic authenticity captured his eye.
According to the brand, Luke was the guy for the photo because he’s real; he’s got this energy that’s all about being true to yourself. That’s what they wanted for the towel—not just a pretty picture, but something that says, “Be you.”
And hey, they’re throwing a party to kick things off. It’s happening at Duro de Matar in Lisbon on June 1st.
