Hackett London and David Gandy Wellwear launch a luxury loungewear collection
by Adriano Batista
Hackett London has teamed up with David Gandy Wellwear, the lifestyle and fashion brand of the supermodel, to create a new collection of 12 luxury pieces for lounging and sleeping. The collection combines the classic and modern vision of men’s fashion from Hackett London with the wellness-focused fabric innovation from David Gandy Wellwear.
The collaboration aims to satisfy the needs of the modern and discerning men who expect more from their clothing. Both British brands share a dedication to form and function, using the highest quality fabrics and paying attention to detail. The minimalist and timeless aesthetic of Wellwear is enhanced with the traditional accents of Hackett, creating a new space in the market for both brands. The collection also features softer fabrics that have been proven to improve psychological well-being and reduce negative emotions, as well as an innovative treatment called ‘Wellwear Care’ that is applied to the softest and most sustainable fabrics.
The collection includes exclusive loungewear pieces that are the heart of the collaboration. There are two Lounge Sets in navy blue, made from the softest BCI lyocell and cotton blend, that offer a classic crew neck or a hoodie option, with matching pants. They are complemented by a lounging set in textured waffle fabric, in off-white or navy blue, with a 100% cotton Henley collar. The Ultimate Lounge Tee, based on Wellwear’s signature and successful style, is made from a BCI cotton blend, modal and elastane for next-level comfort; the perfect everyday essential. The collection also offers two sets of pajamas for the night. The Premium Pajama Set is the best option for leisure time, with a simple long-sleeve top and the option of matching pants or shorts. The Ultimate Pajama Set is a more elevated offering, with buttons and collar, contrast trim details and a chest pocket that evoke the design of traditional pajamas. A waffle fabric bathrobe completes the collection, in which each piece is designed to make you look good and feel good. The collection has an elegant color palette that reflects the signature shades of navy, gray and white of both brands, with dark green accents on the trim and embroidered branding exclusively for this collaboration.
