Japanese footwear brand grounds is teaming up with Los Angeles boutique H. Lorenzo to re-release the SPIKE SNEAKERS, originally created in collaboration with Belgian designer Walter Van Beirendonck. First seen on the runway during Van Beirendonck’s FW20 show, the sneakers are making a limited-edition return to mark H. Lorenzo’s 40th anniversary and the launch of its upcoming archive pop-up.

The fierce design takes grounds’ chunky JEWELRY sneaker and amps it up with aggressive protruding spikes, making it a standout piece. This time, the sneaker will be available exclusively through H. Lorenzo in an all-black colorway.

Starting May 14th, the SPIKE SNEAKERS will be sold at both H. Lorenzo locations in West Hollywood—H.L.N.R. (474 N. Robertson Blvd) and H. Lorenzo Men’s (8700 W. Sunset Blvd)—as well as online.
