Givenchy introduces the Pinch Bag. It first appeared on the Paris runway as part of Creative Director Sarah Burton’s Fall/Winter 2025 women’s collection. The bag gets its name from the hands-on actions used to make it: cutting, folding, and pinching leather into a precise shape. It also calls to mind the way clothes are fitted to a body, tailored to the form.

What sets the Pinch apart is its build. It is made from natural-grained box leather, treated like an envelope, cut and folded. The leather is held in place with gold-finished metal brackets. These act as both a new signature for the house and a key part of the bag’s structure. The shape is both sharp and rounded, finding a balance between clear lines and soft volume.

Another leather, called Palmellato, adds texture. It has a shiny, irregular finish that suggests movement, which plays against the bag’s clean edges. Curved hardware along the sides creates a sense of tension, leading to a clever closure that reflects Givenchy’s history of technical skill.

The Pinch comes in three sizes. It is offered in classic black and ivory, seasonal deep red and acid yellow, and in gold or silver mirror leather. The medium and small sizes include a hidden mirror.
