Gerrit Jacob and MUBI are teaming up to bring back the rebellious spirit of 90s Berlin. Inspired by MUBI’s film series “Reclaiming Spaces: Berlin, the 90s,” the collaboration is a nostalgic trip through the city’s underground culture.
The limited-edition capsule collection is a mix of hand-drawn graphics, graffiti-inspired prints, and raw denim. It’s a celebration of the DIY aesthetic and the rebellious energy that defined the era. The collection captures the essence of Berlin’s club scene and its vibrant art and music communities.
The campaign, shot by Marina Mónaco, is a visual journey through the city’s gritty and glamorous side. The images evoke a sense of nostalgia and longing. The models, dressed in the collection’s pieces, roam the streets of Berlin, capturing the city’s raw energy and unique character.
