Gerrit Jacob’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection, MERCY, explores faith, doubt, and rebellion through a deeply personal lens. Inspired by his experiences with Christianity, Jacob blends reverence and defiance, drawing from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet and Broomberg and Chanarin’s The Holy Bible. The collection juxtaposes saturated colors, distorted prints, and bold silhouettes with intricate details, reflecting the tension between innocence and disillusionment.

Upcycled leather pieces, made from discarded jackets and pants sourced in Berlin, add a layer of renewal to the narrative. MERCY questions tradition while celebrating the strength found in reimagining one’s path. For the first time, the collection is available to purchase immediately upon release.
