For its ninth collection, Fear of God looks to baseball. This is not just a theme, but a core part of the brand’s vision. Jerry Lorenzo explains the connection: baseball is a constant in American history. Growing up in a baseball family, he sees the number nine as a symbol of completion: nine players, nine innings.

This idea moves from the abstract to the physical in the clothes. The collection uses the familiar shapes of American sportswear and tailoring. The goal is a sense of easy elegance, built with careful construction and high-quality materials.

You can see the baseball influence directly. Slouched sweatpants feature Yankee pinstripes. Shoulders are rounded like a classic baseball jacket. Suits are cut for ease, made from Italian wool or technical ripstop fabric. Even the basic items like fleece sweatpants and heavy t-shirts made in Los Angeles receive close attention to their shape and feel. Classic American items like straight-leg denim, trucker jackets, and suede boots are renewed. A new FG monogram appears, its design pulled from baseball’s visual language.

The collection is finished with modern sports mules and soft suede slippers. The bags, in leather and nubuck, have a soft, collapsing shape. A nylon pouch takes its form directly from the kit bags carried by players.
