Reebok is making a strong return to basketball with the launch of its new performance shoe, the Engine A. This marks the brand’s first official basketball sneaker since the early 2010s, and it’s already being worn by top players, including WNBA All-Star Angel Reese. The shoe will be available for purchase in spring, starting with a sleek Silver colorway.

The shoe features Reebok’s patented Energy Return System (ERS™) technology, inspired by the brand’s iconic ‘90s Mobius line. Key features include an Exoskeleton Upper for lightweight, breathable support, an ERS™ Midsole for stability and energy return, and a High-Abrasion Rubber Outsole for elite grip during quick, multi-directional movements. These elements combine to create a high-performance shoe that doesn’t sacrifice style.

High school basketball star Nate Ament, one of the first to test the Engine A, praised its locked-in fit, bounce, and traction, calling it a standout design that’s unlike anything else on the market. The shoe will be showcased by Reebok’s growing basketball team, Team RBK.B, which includes professional, college, and high school athletes like Matas Buzelis, Lexie Brown, and Dink Pate. These players represent Reebok’s focus on individuality and supporting young talent as they redefine the sport.

The Engine A will debut at a price of 120€ on Reebok.eu and select retailers this spring, with additional colorways expected to release later in the season.
