For its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, EDWIN Europe turned to photographer Xavier Rony to capture the essence of its “High Life, Low Levels” theme. Shot in the backstreets of Tokyo, the campaign strips away excess, focusing instead on the quiet beauty found in the city’s overlooked corners.

Rony, experiencing Tokyo for the first time, wandered its narrow alleys with just a camera, documenting raw, unpolished moments. The images feature EDWIN’s signature Japanese Gothic typography alongside pieces from the brand’s Made in Japan line, garments that reflect both craftsmanship and understated style.

The approach aligns with Zen ideas of simplicity, where value exists in basic elements. Clothing appears in real urban environments, with texture and cut speaking for themselves. The collection’s aesthetic comes through in subtle ways – through fabric, shadow, and the quiet energy of the city.
