éclectic Fall/Winter 2014 Collection
by Adriano Batista

Through its unique conception of hand-crafted jackets and coats made of innovative fibers, éclectic manifests a modern aspect on traditional italian tailoring.
From its atelier in Italy, éclectic reveals its mastery over the art of tailoring through a multiplicity of original fabrics and impeccable cuts. With timeless style, éclectic’s pieces protect and define the men who wear them. An authentic concept: that the functionality of a garment is equally as important as its elegance. Franck Malègue dares a new essential this winter, namely fleece.
The designer audaciously chose to project this very “sporty” material onto sartorial construction. A beautiful way to give acclaim to this performance textile : light, warm and particularly addictive. The ultra suppleness of materials meets the ultra construction of jackets and coats, like the Soft Coat in jersey wool on fleece. Meanwhile, the Country Jacket or the grey Blazer, in wool mesh, mixes the feel of a sweater with the chic of a tailored jacket. éclectic also innovates this season through shape, notably with the Overcoat, with an ample cut and raglan sleeves. A design that distinguishes itself from the rest of the brand’s wardrobe with often slim-cut lines.Once again, Franck Malègue was able to reinvent the timeless, by conceiving resolutely modern classics.
