Eastpak x Raf Simons SS18 Collaboration
by Adriano B.
Eastpak unveiled their 6th collaboration with fashion house icon Raf Simons on the runway in Chinatown, New York. This latest collection embraces his dedication to pride and individuality.
Organization and durability are matched with the elegance of layered textures and tailored fabrics. A clash of industrial culture against urban couture. A perfect match for the Spring/Summer 2018 menswear collection Raf Simons presented under the Manhattan Bridge in a small street in the Chinatown neighborhood. His inspiration for the clothing came from graphics of New Order and Joy Division on one hand and Ridley Scott’s movie ‘Blade Runner’ on the other. Models came down the runway wearing rain jackets, rain boots, matching bucket hats, umbrellas with neon handles and, of course, his Eastpak designs.
