Off-White‘s Spring/Summer 2025 collection is a deeply personal exploration of the intersection between America and Africa. Inspired by a trip to Ghana, the place where Virgil came from and the roots he cherished and constantly referred to in his work.

The collection’s name, “DUTY FREE,” signifies a fusion of American and African cultures. The design aesthetic blends sharp lines, athletic inspirations, and African futurism, creating a sense of tautness and functionality. The pieces are designed to be interpreted in multiple ways, responding to the needs of the wearer.

The collection’s color palette is rooted in African neutrals and khakis, with pops of red adding a fiery energy. Both men’s and women’s wear share a common spirit of fierceness and physicality, reflecting the designer’s own personality.

Men’s silhouettes are utilitarian and lush, with a focus on modularity and functionality. Shredded denim, angular layering, and quilting add texture, while mesh and embroidery bring a multicultural element to the collection. The Off-White man is presented as sensually in command.

The collection features a collaboration with Ghanaian contemporary artist Nana Danso, who created original artwork inspired by the brand’s iconic arrows motif and the collection’s core themes.
