DURANIMAL: Duran Lantink FW25 Campaign

Duran Lantink’s new campaign is called DURANIMAL. The name says it all. It’s a simple combination of his name and the word “animal”. This is the territory he’s exploring.
Photographed by Juergen Teller and styled by Jodie Barnes, the campaign features models Alex Consani and Leon Dame. They are placed in a series of unusual settings: staged natural environments and submerged, watery spaces.
The location is the key to the idea. By putting people in these spaces, the campaign asks direct questions. What separates us from animals? Where does our human artifice end and pure instinct begin? Is something beautiful, or is it just a spectacle?
