Dries Van Noten’s Final Collection: A Gender-Fluid Capsule with NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER
by Adriano Batista
NET-A-PORTER and MR PORTER have teamed up with Dries Van Noten to launch an exclusive capsule collection. This collaboration highlights the designer’s move toward gender-fluid fashion and celebrates his legacy as he steps down from his role as creative director after 38 years.
The collection includes six exclusive styles for women on NET-A-PORTER and three for men on MR PORTER, alongside a selection of seasonal pieces. While the SS25 runway show was officially a menswear presentation, some pieces were modeled by women, showing Van Noten’s focus on breaking traditional gender boundaries in fashion.
NET-A-PORTER will offer menswear-inspired styles in bold pinks and smaller sizes, while MR PORTER will feature relaxed tailoring, avant-garde prints, and vibrant colors. The collection reflects Van Noten’s signature use of tactile fabrics, like matte leathers and sheer textures, paired with a mix of neutral and bold hues.
This capsule marks Van Noten’s final collection as creative director, making it a special opportunity for customers to own a piece of his 150th and last collection.
