GRAMMY Award-winning artist Doja Cat has returned with a new single, “Jealous Type,” alongside its music video. The release also comes with a major announcement: her new album is titled VIE and she will be supporting it with a large international tour.
The tour will include shows in cities like Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Manila, and Tokyo. It is scheduled to conclude on December 21 in Kaohsiung. This new series of dates follows her successful “The Scarlet Tour” from 2023.
The announcement follows a moment of direct connection with her fans. She headlined the Outside Lands Music Festival 2025 in San Francisco, where she gave “Jealous Type” its first live performance. After leaving the stage, she hosted a surprise listening party for the new album at Oasis, the city’s legendary drag club. There, a select group of fans got an exclusive preview of music from VIE.
This new chapter builds on a period of significant success. Last year, she released the deluxe album Scarlet 2 CLAUDE, which featured her hits “Attention,” “Paint The Town Red,” and “Agora Hills.” “Paint The Town Red” spent three weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and was the first rap song to top the chart in 2023. “Agora Hills” also became a major success, reaching No. 1 at Top 40 radio and peaking at No. 7 on the Hot 100.
