Kim Jones showed his Fall/Winter 2019 collection for Dior Homme at Paris Fashion Week a stone throws from the École Militaire. The pace was set as models stood on conveyor belt floor a perfect alternative to a runway. This season saw a collaboration with artist Raymond Pettibon injecting an element of color in a rather muted collection on knitwear, jackets, and tees. Additionally, amongst the recent protests, we are seeing technical neons as the latest color de jour.
Continuing the outwear trend of recent seasons, the puffer jackets appear to be staying just a bit long along with oversized proportions. This season also markers the second collaboration with Alyx’s Matthew Williams lending a techwear touch with his buckled detailing. Hypebeasts favorite pieces are sure to be the new patterned B23 sneakers and the continuation of the masculine saddle bag along with Ambush’s Yoon Ahn’s latest spin on jewelry creating a punch of punk in line with Mr.Jones own DNA.
