Dior Homme Showed Its FW16 Collection In Hong Kong!
by Adriano Batista
For the very first time, the Dior Homme made its footprint in Hong Kong to showcase “The Art of Falling Apart” show.
An elite crowd of international celebrities, fashionista and socialites in town were invited to attend the event. International celebrities including Song Joong Ki (Korea), Wu Chun (Taiwan), Shawn Dou (China) and Jin Akanishi (Japan), local celebrities and socialites including Nick Cheung, Gaile Lai, Kary Ng, Alex Lam, Amanda S., Pansy Ho, Laurinda Ho, Mario Ho, Harris Chan, Andrew Chan, Wesley Wong, Wyman Wong and many more, were specially invited to join the show.
The venue was decorated with fragmented led screens playing the Willy Vanderperre’s movie – a specially commissioned project for the show – the same boys who appear on the catwalk are also the stars of the film, revelling in this moment in time.
Club Cheval, from the vibrant club scene in France, performed a live acoustic set at the after-party. The band members – Canblaster, Myd, Sam Tiba and Panteros666 – have created a sound where various electronic sub-genres collide, resulting their hybrid brand of futuristic R&B.
