Denim Tears has launched its own proprietary line of denim, titled DENIM TEARS DENIM BY DENIM TEARS. This marks the first time the brand has created its own denim, having previously used Levi’s as its canvas. The move signals a new chapter in the brand’s development.

The collection introduces two core fits: a Straight Leg and a Baggy style. They are offered in two textured, vintage-inspired washes, Light and Dark, made from heavyweight 14 oz denim. The line also includes a Selvedge Denim style, made from a lighter 13 oz Japanese selvedge woven on traditional shuttle looms. A matching Trucker Jacket is offered in the same fabrics and washes.

The campaign, photographed by Liam MacRae in black and white, features friends of the brand, including Andre Walker and Ali Richmond. The monochrome imagery is intended to focus on the new denim silhouettes and create intimate portraits.

All styles are cut, sewn, and washed in the USA. Denim Tears highlights the sustainable focus of the production, noting it works with a manufacturer recognized as “the cleanest denim factory in the world,” where 98% of the water used in washing is recycled.
