Converse and renowned Japanese streetwear brand Neighborhood renew their highly regarded partnership with new takes on the One Star ’74 and Chuck ’70. The Converse x Neighborhood collaboration takes these two iconic silhouettes and modernizes them with streetwear, workwear and motorcycle-inspired functionality.

With roots in the motorcycle counterculture, Neighborhood designer Shinsuke Takizawa brings one-of-a-kind interpretations of motorcycle elements to all his products. Like Converse, Neighborhood also shares the philosophy that clothing should support the lifestyle of the wearer. The new collaboration fuses these elements, resulting in a collection that not only exudes functionality, but timeless, everyday wearabilty.

The Converse x Neighborhood One Star ’74 features a premium suede upper that is contrasted by a leather lining. A focal point of the sneaker, the classic Star Chevron is further enhanced with embellished details. Trademark Neighborhood text adorns the foxing tape.

The Converse x Neighborhood Chuck ’70 celebrates the cultural crossroads of music and motorcycle lifestyle. With a rugged leather-infused canvas upper, the sneaker features a ‘gear shift’ toe overlay in both rubber and leather for extra resilience and protection during motorcycle riding.

Sitting as perfect complements to one another, both the One Star ’74 and Chuck ’70 are further updated with a Neighborhood logo sock-liner.

The Converse x Neighborhood One Star ’74 and Chuck ’70 silhouettes launch April 6 at Converse retail stores, select retailers and on Converse.com.
