Chapter presented its Fall/Winter 2016 collection during New York Fashion Week: Men’s. Inspired by the city of Los Angeles and its inclusive nature, Chapter’s “ADMISSION” collection, revels in confidence, intention and the experience of finding yourself on a path lined with distractions that can be all consuming. The city is for those who not only seek to fulfill their personal ambitions but who also want to encounter new experiences along the way.

The collection brings those elements of transformation and distraction to life with a new approach to familiar Chapter silhouettes. In a nod to the styling of LA’s mid to late 90’s swing revival, dropped rise pants feature a high-waisted silhouette developed both with a fuller leg and a more tapered fit. Woven and knit tops make use of understated paneling and color blocking; their silhouettes are shortened by raw, high-density overlock hems, adding an effortless element to a refined offering. Hand detailing brings two-face fabrics such as wool blended Melton into use while cashmere/wool knits and washed down Tencel/linen add a new element of richness and simplicity. Outerwear is designed with familiar lines that are enhanced by subtle detailing that captures the thoughtful eye. Finally, the brand’s signature color palette is highlighted by a rich dark emerald green, clay and mud.
