CELINE HOMME unveiled the video from its Winter 2023 show held at the iconic Le Palace in the heart of Paris. This extraordinary venue holds a special place in Hedi Slimane’s heart, as it was his go-to spot during his formative years, starting from the tender age of 16.
Originally constructed as a theater dance hall in the 17th century, Le Palace transformed into a legendary nightclub in 1978 under the visionary impresario Fabrice Emaer. It quickly became the buzzing epicenter of Parisian nightlife, attracting an eclectic mix of vibrant communities who reveled in its exuberance. Esteemed figures such as Yves Saint Laurent, Grace Jones, Prince, Karl Lagerfeld, Andy Warhol, Serge Gainsbourg, Mick Jagger, Jerry Hall, and countless others flocked to this cultural hotspot.
The collection comes from an intimate reflection on personal growth: the process of gaining confidence, embracing vulnerability, and moving forward with steady steps toward a stronger version of oneself.
