LOEWE‘s new Madrid bag feels like a love letter to its origins. Named after the city where the house was founded in 1846, where its leather workshops still operate today, this soft trapezoidal bag carries the weight of history in its supple curves.

The craftsmanship shows in every detail. Made from specially developed calfskin with a subtle glow, the Madrid drapes-like fabric yet holds its shape. Pleated sides close with tubular straps, while inside, nappa leather lines the interior – no corners cut. A magnetic fastening snaps shut with a golden Pebble that catches the light, and an exaggerated zipper adds just enough asymmetry to keep things interesting.

The Madrid will be available in three sizes and four colors: classic Black, deep Dark Burgundy, earthy Olive, and a warm Burnt Red that looks like autumn leaves. Each version carries that same quiet confidence, the kind that comes from nearly two centuries of working with leather.
