Caravaggio

Model Scout and Photographer Cesar Perin has created a series of images featuring Unsigned MGMT models Max Rendell, Jack Daniel, Ross Hindmarch, Sam Worth, Callum Rockall and Haydn Rockall. Inspired by the paintings of Caravaggio, the boys wear autumnal flowers and channel Carvaggio’s fondness of depicting beautiful boys, loosely clothed in ethereal styles.

Caravaggio was born into a world of violence and instability in 1571 – just a week before the Battle of Lepanto, a bloody conflict in which Turkish invaders were driven out of Christendom. His fiery masterpieces have inspired generations of artists, but he had a shortlived career. After killing a man during a brawl the artist fled Rome. He died not long after, on July 18, 1610.
