Burberry is celebrating its iconic Check scarf with a new portrait series. It features friends of the house, including Olivia Colman, Liu Wen, and Tyson Beckford.

The scarves are a mark of British craftsmanship. They are woven in Scotland at a family-owned mill that was founded in 1797. This mill has partnered with Burberry for 125 years and has been making the check scarf since the 1980s. The scarves are finished with teasels to give them an ultra-soft feel.

To place scarves at the center of the brand, Burberry has launched a Scarf Bar in its stores around the world. Locations include flagship stores in London, New York, Tokyo, and Shanghai, as well as newly opened stores in São Paulo and Bangkok. This elegant space displays the scarves on custom-made furniture. It invites customers to explore the heritage behind the design. A curated selection is available in more than thirty shades of the Burberry Check, from soft cashmere to silk twill. The experience is made personal with an embroidery service. Customers can add up to five initials and chosen icons to a scarf, turning it into a unique signature. The brand has also introduced a Virtual Try On feature online. This interactive tool helps guide the search for the perfect scarf from home.
