Balenciaga’s Fall/Winter 2025 collection is unveiled in a unique setting: a symmetrical backstage maze with multiple exits and entrances. This setup symbolizes the creative process, where ideas flow in many directions. The seating plan is inverted, giving everyone a front-row view, breaking down traditional hierarchies.
The collection is a study of standard dress codes, exploring how everyday garments can be transformed into fashion. It focuses on the basics of wardrobe staples, rethinking them through dressmaking principles and the pursuit of balance and proportion. The goal is to challenge and redefine what we consider “standard.”
The collection also features the Balenciaga | PUMA collaboration, combining Balenciaga’s unique design style with PUMA’s history of high-performance sportswear. Drawing inspiration from PUMA’s work in football and motorsports, the collection blends technical sportswear with fashion, creating a seamless mix of functionality and style.
