ASQUIN, known for its blend of showstoppers and everyday wear, is taking things to a more mature and serious level this season. Enter ‘JÖRMUNGANDR,’ a narrative that traces the journey from egg hatching to reptilian shedding, decline, and rebirth. It uses the snake motif to delve into the human body’s transformations, wrapped in a wardrobe that’s both potent and sensual.
The collection boasts 90s-inspired biker outfits, corseted silhouettes in subtle nude tones, and elegant cut-out dresses that straddle the line between structure and fluidity, dressing and undressing. What’s cool is that the unisex range has expanded to cater to all body types and empower diverse identities.
ASQUIN’s signature electric color palette takes a step back, making room for more mineral and organic shades like grey, beige, and white alongside its familiar greens and reds. Textures have evolved too, with fluid and matte fabrics contrasting the structured and glossy snake-printed faux-leather materials. Metallic elements, featuring the ASQUIN logo, mingle with hand-crocheted metal chainmail pieces, creating a deconstructed armor vibe that’s undeniably unique.
