Andrew Coimbra unveiled his Fall/Winter 2016 collection, inspired by the oil spill off the coast of Vancouver, in 2015. The designer began thinking about the different forms of marine pollution and researching natural forms of defense for marine wildlife, in efforts of juxtaposing the two themes. This collection is a combination of his current aesthetic and bringing attention to a topic that needs to be put in the spotlight.

Oil printed fabrics, slick textures and aquatic pop-art-inspired embroidered embellishments were incorporated into several pieces in the line of contemporary sportswear with fine tailoring and on-trend prints.
