AMI Spring/Summer 2026
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
Alexandre Mattiussi knew from the beginning how big he wanted to make his project in the form of a clothing brand called AMI, and he made this clear at the latest edition of Paris Fashion Week, where he presented his Spring/Summer 2026 collection as an invitation to everyone who wants to join in celebrating joy and freedom.
Would it seem crazy and impossible to cut off part of the centre of the French capital and hold the show in the middle of one of its most beautiful squares? If you think so, we can tell you that nothing is impossible, because that is precisely what happened. Effort and hard work always break down barriers and reward the endless days of work.
Places des Victoires is the place to talk about, and where dozens of timeless, elegant, and special looks that Alexandre and his entire team, who also had their deserved moment in the limelight at the show, had prepared for their guests and all their clientele who place their trust in them were on display. Through them, it was possible to appreciate the great evolution that the firm has undergone over the years, especially in recent ones. At this moment, AMI no longer feels like a normal firm, but rather a stable fashion house that stands out for having a series of fundamentals behind it that make it a safe bet; as well as, of course, for designing garments that stand out for their colour palette, their relaxed silhouettes, textures and attention to detail.
Mattiussi’s men’s wardrobe is designed for men who love fashion and dressing well. There is no shortage of tailored coats, perfectly structured and tailored, rich knitwear, trousers of all lengths, particularly shorts and boxy Bermuda trousers worn with socks, sneakers, or lace-up shoes, and sometimes with oversized leather bags.
Once again, Alexandre Mattiussi has won the hearts of all those who believe in his vision and brought others back on board.
