Ami Paris unveils the Mirage sneaker
by Adriano Batista
Ami Paris has unveiled a new staple for the wardrobe: the Mirage sneaker. Designed for both men and women, it merges careful construction with a sleek, new shape, made for daily life in motion.
The sneaker’s aerodynamic form reflects the brand’s core ideas of relaxed versatility. It fits within the Ami Paris “vestiaire” concept, where easy design meets the pace of contemporary life, for those who turn talent into passion.
Its inspiration comes from the feeling of friendship and community among local Parisian figures, the people who shape the city’s culture. This spirit is channeled into an adaptive design, meant to move easily from creative spaces to café terraces. The campaign builds on this feeling, focusing on real people and real connections, reinforcing the Ami belief that home is wherever your friends are.
Built for street style and varied terrain, the Mirage pairs a strong visual identity with technical elements. Smart materials create an ergonomic, extra-soft upper. A spiked rubber texture wraps from the sole over the front, back, and sides. Signature details include the Ami de Cœur on the tongue and the Ami Paris logo on the pull tab.
The launch includes a mesh version in natural and vibrant tones like bronze green, ivory beige, light blue, and black. There is also a premium iteration in monochrome white Nappa leather for a clean, timeless appearance.
The construction is lightweight and supple, recalling a classic car shoe. The dynamic rubber soles are made in a mold designed specifically for Ami, offering a unique combination of durable style and technical precision.
