Adidas x Yohji Yamamoto Y-3 – Atelier Collection

Y-3 Atelier presents its exclusive line of apparel and footwear. The second installment from Y-3 Atelier is a testament to the harmonious fusion of adidas’ athletic legacy and Yohji Yamamoto’s revolutionary design ethos. It resurrects iconic pieces from Yohji Yamamoto and Yohji Yamamoto POUR HOMME’s runway presentations, transforming them with the innovative use of waterproof 3-layer GORE-TEX® material, all while preserving the distinctive silhouette that is emblematic of the original creations. This array of monochromatic black garments, including vests, coats, parkas, blousons, jackets, and blazers, is distinguished by extended seams and flap pockets, and is adorned with reflective logos, casting the quintessential Yohji Yamamoto style in a fresh light.
The essence and movement of the collection are immortalized in a series of stills by the lens of photographer Thue Nørgaard, capturing the dynamic spirit of each garment.
