ACROMATYX Unveils “006 Modern Poetry” at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid
by Adriano Batista
Spanish fashion house ACROMATYX unveiled their Spring/Summer 2025 collection, titled “006 Modern Poetry,” at the 80th edition of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid. This collection is a celebration of minimalism and delicate beauty, featuring garments that blur the lines between inside and outside.
The core concept of “006 Modern Poetry” lies in the deconstruction of traditional clothing construction. Seams, cuts, piping, and linings, elements typically hidden away, take center stage in this collection. Garments are designed to be reversible, highlighting the craftsmanship and artistry behind each piece. Ripped effects and exposed stitching add a hint of unfinished elegance, further emphasizing the raw beauty and vulnerability at the heart of the collection.
ACROMATYX remains true to its signature style, opting for oversized, loose silhouettes over restrictive forms. The use of unbalanced proportions, like giant pockets and repurposed fabric elements, adds to the collection’s unique, avant-garde aesthetic.
The color palette reflects the collection’s delicate nature. Black, the brand’s signature color, is joined by soft pastels like pink, white, and metallics. These hues are translated into luxurious fabrics like wool, cotton, organza, gauze, silk, knit, graviti, metallic, and retor. Visually striking contrast threading adds another layer of intrigue to the already captivating designs.
ACROMATYX likens the garment’s visible seams to “scars” that tell a story. These seams, like second skin, offer protection while allowing us to express our true selves through fashion.
The collection also features a new bag model with clean lines, crafted from leather in black, white, and metallic. This bag, featuring a die-cut logo and oversized handle, is already available for purchase on the ACROMATYX website.
