by Adriano Batista
The Finnish-born designer is set to unveil his debut collection of gender-neutral ready-to-wear, footwear, and accessories at Pitti Uomo 105 in Florence, Italy, on January 11th, 2024, followed by a presentation at Paris Men’s Fashion Week later that month.

“We are very happy that a young, cool, and important brand like ACHILLES ION GABRIEL chooses to debut its collection at Pitti Uomo, in an edition full of special events,” says Lapo Cianchi, Head of Communication and Special Events at Pitti Immagine, the organizer of Pitti Uomo.
“I am very excited to debut the first ready-to-wear collection of ACHILLES ION GABRIEL and share my creative vision at Pitti Uomo. It’s an honor for me and my team, and we cannot wait for January,” says Achilles Ion Gabriel.
His footwear designs, which combine craftsmanship, functionality, and aesthetics, have earned him acclaim and recognition from critics and customers alike. He has also collaborated and consulted with renowned brands such as Marni, Sunnei, and Marimekko, showcasing his versatility and flair.
In June 2019, he was appointed as the Creative Director of Camperlab, the experimental division of the Spanish footwear brand Camper, and in August 2020, he took over the helm of Camper as well. Under his leadership, Camper and Camperlab have evolved and expanded their offerings, blending tradition and innovation, and appealing to a wider and younger audience.
As he continues his role with Camper and Camperlab, 2024 marks the beginning of a new chapter for Achilles Ion Gabriel.
