Abigail Ajobi‘s Fall/Winter 2022 collection is entitled ‘The Love Story Continues…’ and showcases the love story of the designer’s parents as a young couple in Nigeria from two different worlds, who met on a flight between Lagos and London.
The film aims to explore the early stages of their relationship based in Nigeria and the development of their love, from initial admiration until their wedding party, and finally the scene of departure with the hope that they will meet again soon as ‘The Love Story Continues…’
The offering is relaxed yet polished. It includes rugby shirts, lightweight shell jackets, and everyday T-shirts that speak to the brand’s modern-prep influences.
