Last night, A$AP Rocky didn’t just attend the Met Gala. He made the afterparty the main event. Teaming up with Ray-Ban, he introduced the Wayfarer Puffer, a new take on sunglasses that mixes hip-hop energy with precision craftsmanship.

The highlight was a custom pair made with 18-karat gold, diamonds, and natural gemstones, all hand-finished in Italy. But Rocky took it further. After the Met, his creative group AWGE and Ray-Ban turned Jeans NYC into the AWGE Tailor Shop, a temporary space where 1940s vintage aesthetics met modern design.

Inside, guests like Rihanna, Megan Thee Stallion, and Spike Lee saw the unreleased Wayfarer Puffers in colors like red, pink, and green. The thick, padded frames gave the classic Wayfarer a fresh, urban feel. Rocky himself wore a special version: 200 grams of white gold and 60 carats of diamonds and red gemstones, putting it among the most valuable sunglasses ever created.

The setup included vintage hat displays, gold styling tools, and a wall of Rocky’s inspirations, merging tradition with his own creative vision. Attendees received “Don’t Be Dumb” tickets, which they could exchange for a personalized tuxedo fitting right there.
