En Noir Spring 2013 – A Closer Look
by Adriano Batista

This month marks En Noir‘s launch into top retailers nationwide with the brand’s full Spring 2013 collection. The well received collection makes its debut in Barneys New York mid-May, as well as other top retailers. The collection features a range of pieces that vary from leather crew neck sweatshirts to elaborate patterned basketball shorts.
Highlighted here are selected pieces from the En Noir Spring 2013 collection with detailed images and descriptions that exhibit each garments unique qualities.

The Waxed Gradient Button-Up & 5 Pocket Pant come unique in a lightly waxed moleskin. Zippers and snap buttons help add key detail to the minimal design of each piece. The standout qualities of these pieces are the fit and fabrication.

The Raging Bull Leather Basketball Short is made from a rare calfskin sourced from a small region in Southern Italy. The leather paneling gives this piece its standout look. The Raging Bull Basketball Short is finished with zippered pockets, silk lining and a drawstring waistband.

This Leather Crewneck for spring stands out with its quilted sleeves. Key details include a functional kangaroo pocket on the front, soft cotton ribbed sleeves and silk lining on the inside. Each garment comes finished with a zipper on the back collar and full side zippers for additional function.

The Cross Cut Leather Crewneck derives its name from the dye cut leather pattern on the sleeves that create the shape of a cross. The lazer cut detail on the sleeves standout with its construction and comfort due to the cotton ribbed cuffs. Additions include silk lining and zipper access on the back and side panels.

The BMX 5 Pocket Pant includes a detailed panel in both smooth and perforated leather finished with silk lining on the inside. These pants feature a zipper fly and button closure to add extra function to the garment. The padded leather panel on the knees ensures longer lasting wear and protection.
