Salomon is marking the 20th anniversary of its ACS PRO trail sneaker with a special edition. The release honors the shoe’s past while focusing on its continued relevance. The design goes back to the shoe’s original prototype.

The ACS PRO has found a place in sneaker culture. It is known for standout collaborations with brands like MM6 Maison Margiela. The shoe has transitioned from a high-performance trail model to an urban fashion item, worn by figures like Bella Hadid and Lil Yachty.

The colorway for this anniversary edition is inspired by an unreleased sample from 2005. The campaign focuses on this idea of a rare “sample shoe,” highlighting the experimental history behind the release.

To launch the shoe, Salomon is organizing an experience in Paris, New York, and Mexico City. The brand will hide unique codes around these cities. Finding a code can unlock the chance to purchase the sneaker or another reward, turning the release into a city-wide treasure hunt.
