A new collaboration between Salomon and Mental Athletic looks at trail running through a different lens. The Driftform Collection pairs Salomon’s technical expertise (Contagrip traction, breathable fabrics, lightweight cuts) with Mental Athletic’s clean, minimalist design. The goal is to see the sport as both a physical challenge and a cultural activity.

This vision comes to life in the campaign, directed by Riccardo Raspa, which was shot in Cameroon around the Race of Hope on Mount Cameroon. The focus shifts from a simple race to the place itself. We see the village of Buea, the savannah, the volcano, and the local communities involved in conservation. Running is presented as a common thread that connects athletes, people, and the land. The race becomes a point between exhaustion and perseverance, nature and human will, tradition and the present day.
