Borque makes his comeback with “Cuando Vuelvas,” a track that blends electronic sophistication with his signature pop hooks. Produced by caracazador, the song explores the sting of ghosting, that moment when you finally say “enough,” even if the memory lingers. It’s a melody that pulls you in, then leaves you hanging, mirroring the push-and-pull of a fading romance.
The music video, co-directed by Rafa Martínez Calle and Felipe Olaya Meza, started as a playful concept (a “TikTok haul” of vintage phones) but evolved into something deeper. Borque plays a man waiting endlessly for a call that never comes, surrounded by 32 salvaged telephones and the glow of strobe lights. The empty bed says it all: ghosting hurts.
This release marks Borque’s first since his debut album, proving that second chances can bring something fresh. His self-described “easy pop written by a complicated person” strikes a balance between danceable beats and raw emotion, music for heartbreak that still makes you move.
