Sheep Inc. has launched FIBREGEN™, a new kind of fabric that combines comfort with real environmental benefits. Developed over two years in partnership with Portugal’s Inovafil, this material uses natural fibers in a way that supports the planet rather than harming it.

The key ingredient is cotton from Good Earth Cotton®, a farming initiative that helps restore soil, encourages biodiversity, and turns cotton production into something that actually helps the climate. Every step of the material’s creation is tracked with FibreTrace® technology, so customers know exactly where it comes from and how it was made.

FIBREGEN™ is made with three layers: two outer layers of soft, breathable regenerative cotton and a middle layer of undyed Merino wool that adjusts to body temperature. The result is a fabric that feels light and comfortable, perfect for everyday wear.

Beyond comfort, the material is designed to have a positive impact. It’s completely natural, biodegradable, and carbon-negative, meaning it removes more carbon from the atmosphere than it produces. The wool comes from farms that work to improve their local ecosystems, making each piece part of a larger effort to repair the environment.

The first collection includes unisex hoodies and sweatshirts in five colors inspired by nature: Cloud Ash (Ecru), Mineral Sea (Aqua), Storm Blue (Navy), Deep Earth (Dark Brown), and Lavender Haze (Lilac).

Sheep Inc. sees this as a shift in how clothing should perform. Instead of being designed for intense activity, FIBREGEN™ is made for ease and adaptability, fitting naturally into daily life.
