Primavera a la Ciutat Is About to Light Up Barcelona

Primavera Sound Barcelona 2025 is already sold out, but the party doesn’t stop there. Real magic also happens with Primavera a la Ciutat, the week-long spillover of concerts taking over the city’s best venues—and the schedule just dropped.
From June 2 to June 9, Barcelona becomes a playground for music lovers. The local band Maig kicks things off on Monday, while Chat Pile’s crushing noise-rock closes it all out in the early hours of Sunday. In between? A dizzying mix of sounds: Allie X’s glittery synth-pop vs. Tinariwen’s hypnotic desert blues on Tuesday, Beach House playing a rare afternoon show at Razzmatazz on Wednesday, and explosive sets from the likes of Kim Deal, The Jesus Lizard, Peter Doherty, and Nilüfer Yanya scattered throughout the week.
And let’s talk about the venues—Sala Apolo, Razzmatazz, Paral-lel 62, LAUT—each with its own vibe, turning the entire city into a festival. Even better? The CCCB’s Pati de les Dones hosts free midday shows, so you can start your day with live music under the Barcelona sun.
If you’re holding a full festival ticket, you can book your spot for these shows starting April 14 (VIPs first, then everyone else) via the AccessTicket app. There’s a €15 deposit, but it’s refunded if you show up—skip it, and the money goes to charity.
No ticket? Don’t panic. On April 17, Fever will release a limited batch of concert-specific tickets. And the CCCB shows? Free for all.
