A$AP Rocky and PUMA Launch Collection with the Mostro 3D and Inhale Distressed
by Adriano Batista
A$AP Rocky and PUMA finally dropped their highly anticipated collection featuring footwear, apparel, and accessories. Debuting at New York Fashion Week, the futuristic MOSTRO 3D sneaker takes the spotlight, pushing the limits of design with its 3D-printed construction.
Inspired by a mechanic’s workwear, the collection features a distressed treatment across the Inhale sneakers and various apparel pieces. The Inhale gets a streetwear makeover with flames embroidered around the signature PUMA formstrip, while the apparel boasts a similar worn-in aesthetic with racing design details and co-branded logos.
The collection offers a range of pieces to elevate your street style. The A$AP Rocky x PUMA TANK TOP features a distressed design and a tire tread-inspired PUMA Cat logo. Inspired by pit crews, the KNEE PAD PANTS showcase a bold PUMA Cat logo with the formstrip and a relaxed fit. For a fusion of streetwear and racing vibes, the TEAM ZIP POLO combines the classic polo design with racing graphics and a distressed finish. Denim shorts in a dark wash and a loose fit complete the casual look, featuring prominent PUMA branding. Accessories like the WEBBING BELT, directly inspired by vintage car seat belts, and the LEATHER BELT with crystal detailing on the buckle, add a touch of functionality and personality. Rounding off the collection, the PADDED BALACLAVA offers a unique racing helmet-inspired piece.
A$AP Rocky’s involvement extends beyond product design. He played a key role in the entire creative process, from product development to the marketing campaign’s direction and styling. “It was time to put my own spin on PUMA classics,” he said.
