MR PORTER and Stone Island Unveil Exclusive Ghost Capsule
by Adriano Batista
MR PORTER has joined forces with Stone Island to launch a limited-edition Ghost capsule collection. This exclusive collaboration brings together Stone Island’s innovative approach to camouflage and MR PORTER’s commitment to curating the finest menswear.
The Stone Island Ghost concept, introduced in 2011, revolves around the idea of disappearing into the surroundings. The collection’s monochromatic palette, including even the Stone Island badges, ensures a seamless blend with the environment. The 13-piece capsule, available in a deep grey hue, is exclusively available on MR PORTER starting September 23rd.
Outerwear takes center stage in this collection. Highlights include a luxurious down jacket crafted from fine merino worsted wool twill, garment-dyed and coated with resin for added protection. A field jacket made from Ventile®, a renowned British fabric known for its exceptional weather resistance, is another standout piece. Both jackets offer unparalleled protection against the elements, thanks to their dense weave and the fabric’s ability to swell when wet.
Completing the capsule are an overshirt, a zip-up bomber jacket, knitwear, polo shirts, and cargo trousers, all in a cohesive grey colorway.
To celebrate this exclusive collaboration, MR PORTER will launch a global campaign featuring the talented actor, writer, and curator Mr. Russell Tovey, one of Stone Island’s FW24 campaign ambassadors.
