Saint Laurent‘s Winter 2024 campaign is turning heads. Anthony Vaccarello, the brand’s creative director, teamed up with photographer Glen Luchford to create a series of gorgeous photos and a short film.
Imagine dramatic sets dripping with jewel tones, a diverse cast of characters, and perfectly styled shots. These scenes pay tribute to art history greats like Michelangelo, Caravaggio, and Manet. But there’s a modern twist – a hint of playful sensuality inspired by 20th-century film directors like Visconti and Pasolini.
These directors, once seen as controversial, were actually tackling important issues of their time. Their bold work aimed to prevent history from repeating itself.
