Timelessness captures Levis® and JJJJound’s first capsule collection
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta

Levi’s® and JJJJound officially launch their first collaboration for Spring/Summer 2023, a week after they shared a teaser post on Instagram.
The pair’s first collection reflects their commitment to quality, durability, and minimalist design. Comprised of six pieces, including tops, trousers, and accessories, whose catalyst is light wash selvedge denim, together they reinterpret timeless classics and meticulously craft each piece with high-quality fabrics, precise components, and subtle branding while maintaining the integrity and identity of both brands.
Timelessness is a particular feature of this capsule. Jeans will never go out of fashion and, above all, will never be missing from anyone’s wardrobe. Everyone has at least one pair, and many people remember with special fondness the moment they bought their first pair of Levi’s® 501 jeans, which after 150 years are still considered the best. So, to commemorate this historic milestone, Levi’s® and JJJJound are adding another chapter to the history of this trouser model in their first collaboration.
Moving back to the pieces that make up the Levi’s® & JJJJound offering, we find a Utility jacket, inspired by the Canadian military silhouette and crafted in light denim with slanted chest pockets; a denim shirt that blends the classic JJJJJound oxford shirt with vintage Levi’s® workwear, equipped with classic chest pockets and copper hardware; a classic Pocket T-shirt in white with a screen-printed watercolor-inspired graphic; and finally, 501® ’93 jeans, which become one of the line’s signature pieces with their sophisticated refinement and light-wash SHRINK-TO-FIT™ denim, finished with copper hardware.
All of these clothing items are complemented by accessories such as six-panel caps, based on the JJJJJound weekend cap, finished in light selvedge denim, copper hardware, contrast stitching, and embroidered with the JJJJJound motif; and a large canvas tote bag, available in red and complemented with copper hardware and a branded plaque.

Levi’s® x JJJJJound capsule collection will be launched worldwide on May 5th, 2023, and will be available for purchase on Levi.com, the Levi’s® App, select Levi’s® shops, and JJJJJound.com.
