Stussy and Dries Van Noten have something to tell you…
by Gabriel Córdoba Acosta
That’s right, they do. One of the best-kept secrets of the fall/winter season has just been revealed, and it has to do, of course, with another collaboration. This project we’re talking about is between Stussy and Dries Van Noten. And with the permission of Converse, Nike, or Tekla – brands that have already collaborated with Stussy – it seems quite powerful.
We could say that this alliance is undoubtedly one of the most surprising of 2022 and one of those that has generated the most expectation after its announcement. If the news has already sparked the craze, imagine when the collection comes out.
Rapper A$AP Nast was the first to show a preview of the collab on social media. From what we’ve been able to see, it’s a grey denim jacket with matching jeans, a hoodie, and spray-painted caps. The logo on the pieces, which belongs to Stussy, is printed over the Dries Van Noten branding. In the case of the caps, the legendary 8-ball appears on the front panel.
What else will make up the capsule? Only Stussy and Dries Van Noten know. Make a note of this date 18th November, Friday. That’s when the collection will be released and available for purchase at select Stussy stores, Dover Street Market locations, Dries Van Noten boutiques, and on the websites of both.
