Kenzo creative director just revealed his debut collection in Paris where Kanye West, Pharell and Pusha T were there to support the Japanese multitasker. Several days after the Fall/Winter 2022 presentation, he announced on his social platforms that he is about to drop a new record on March 25th and will include some of the most exciting rappers of the current rap contemporary scene. Nigo invited Kid Cudi, Lil Uzi Vert, Tyler the Creator as well as A$AP Rocky to feature on this blockbuster record. A$AP Rocky is the first guest who appears on the official first single “Arya” while Cudi features on an exclusive track that was among the soundtrack of the Kenzo runway show.
The album “I Know Nigo” will be his first release via Universal Music Group (Republic Records) and it follows the release of “Serious Japanese” (2009) and “Ape Sounds” (1992). In addition to his DJ and recording producer activities, Nigo has a partnership with his friend Pharell for the brand Human Made, which they launched together.
