We love MOTHER BROWN’S REMEDY
by Eduardo G.

Back in the days, when our busy, buzzing and hands-on grandmothers needed to cure our occasional childhood ailments and other common problems, they never rushed to the drugstore around the corner. Instead, they relied on their wisdom and female intuition – and on their very own precious plants and herbs that they used to cultivate with love in their kitchen garden. Today, the fast pace of life means that we rarely take the time to explore our precious ancestral knowledge and our grandmother’s natural know-how gleaned from recipes handed down through the ages. Instead of opting for simple, natural and efficient alternatives, which make the most of what Mother Nature has to offer, we tend to call our doctor for an appointment or to raid the prescription free drug shelf of our local pharmacist.

“It started with the simple desire to carry on the knowledge shared from our grandmothers, to treat nature’s ingredients with respect, and to utilise them with care,” explains Barbara Kennedy-Brown, Founder of Mother Brown’s Remedy, whose ultimate goal is to create awareness around the power of herbal remedies – 100% natural supplements that provide cover for the occasional hiccough your body might encounter on its travels, in its daily life or when our lifestyle choices may not be exactly what the doctor would order.
In this sense, the Mother Brown’s Remedy Kit was created to be the ultimate companion, when coping with the daily routine can feel a little more challenging than usual. Whether it is a dodgy meal, a hangover, ‘fashion flu’ or the occasional sleepless night, these convenient remedies will help you pick yourself up and get back on track towards a healthy lifestyle.
