“Happy Ending” is the new collection of designer Krizia Robustella for Spring/Summer 2017, a funeral where color, flowers and irony are the protagonists. The prints by hand of the artist David Mendez Alonso are filled with gangsta iconography: guns, knives and brass knuckles mixed with smileys, plants and fences. Robustella’s signature urban characters blend luxury and sport to create this funny-funereal wardrobe.
In total, Sónar 2017 will feature more than 140 performances across 9 stages, including brand new shows from Justice, Arca (live) & Jesse Kanda (av), Soulwax, DJ Shadow, Nicolas Jaar, Moderat, Eric Prydz, De La Soul, Anderson.
“Essentials is the perfect blend of product and culture from a brand like Converse. Focussed around classic sportswear items, redefined for streetwear….it mirrors the story of Converse as a brand, born in sport, raised by the streets.”
For the Fall/Winter 2017 collection, Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki, co-founders and artistic directors of Maison Kitsuné, drew their inspiration from American pop culture and the aesthetic and creative energie of New York born, Paris based, artist William Klein.
