Remember Tamagochis, girls in colourful Lycra, gaming on PS1 and Monica pulling a Lewinsky? In the 1990’ies we saw the diffusion of information which made everyone strive for individuality. But at the same time, marks from sub-cultures like Techno Ravers, Grunge and Hip Hop divided the fashion scene in clear cut groups, making a very clear and worldwide mark on personal style.
To celebrate the decade, hummel is launching the 3-S sneaker for Autumn/Winter 2014, a heritage style with a distinct look’n’feel that pays homage to the 90ies. The design team has drawn inspiration from old hummel silhouettes and colourways and the result is a retro running-style fashion sneaker made of nylon, microfiber and suede that comes in four fun and eclectic colour combinations. Additionally an exclusive version in all black or white leather is available for a more monochrome and toned down look.
